Virgin Trains to end
~ Virgin lost their bid to renew their UK rail franchise where they were quite progressive with customer service & tech improvements. They were also the only UK rail company to genuinely welcome bicycles on board. Certainly felt like they had actually used bikes in conjunction with trains before.
~ Instead the UK government decided to give it to First Group who already have control of huge swaths and do a generally mediocre job of it.
